Vaginal Warts
Vaginal
warts are caused by
the human papillomavirus (HPV). Vaginal warts are similar
to warts that can grow on your hand. The warts are
soft, moist, pink or flesh-colored bumps. You can have one
or many of these bumps at a time. In women, the warts
commonly appear in or around the vagina, on the cervix or
around the anus. Vaginal warts
occur in warm, moist areas such as the labia minora, and
vaginal openings. Vaginal warts are
also called genital warts and venereal
warts.
You can get genital
warts during oral, vaginal or anal sex
with an infected partner. Proper usage of latex condoms
greatly reduces, but does not completely eliminate, the
danger of catching or spreading HPV. Vaginal warts and
warts are benign tumors that arise on the outside and
inside of the vagina and around the
anus. Vaginal bleeding
is the early miscarriage sign, but a vaginal wart and
other disorders caused by human papillomavirus can bleed
sometimes.
The warts might
fade on their own. If not, your health care provider can
remedy or eliminate them. The virus stays in your body
even after therapy,so warts can come back. Vaginal warts
can be detected during a pap smear.
Vaginal genital herpes is a common sexually
transmitted disease and can have severe repercussions,
especially in women. Vaginal herpes is caused by herpes
simplex virus affecting millions of women worldwide.
Vaginal
warts (also known as genital warts, vaginal
warts, venereal warts and condylomata acumina-ta) are
external symptoms of infection by the human papilloma
virus (HPV). Vaginal warts are highly contagious and are
spread through oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected
partner. Vaginal Wart Prevention can only be accomplished
in one way, and that is to abstain from sex.
